FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT
Graduates of this Faculty get deep theoretical knowledge and practical experience not only in economic disciplines such as economics, marketing, accounting and audit, but also in forest science disciplines.
Training of Masterís degree program students is carried out with involvement of the professors from foreign partner universities as well as leading specialists of Saint Petersburg companies and consulting organizations.
The Faculty is closely connected with leading forest and economic institutes of Finland, Sweden, Germany, and Serbia. The most successful students participate in annual exchange programs and obtain education abroad.
Fields of training
Specializations: Economics of enterprises and organizations and Business accounting, analysis and audit. Graduates can work at forest complex enterprises, in private industry, in state-controlled structures or they may continue education at the Masterís degree program level and to get double degree certificate of international standard. Sphere of professional activities of graduates includes complex economic and financial analysis, drawing up business plans, validation of cost efficiency, analytic work, etc.
This field of study implies training in one of two specializations: Marketing or Industry management, after which a graduate can work as professional or continue education at the Masterís degree program level.
Graduates work as marketing specialists, managers of forest sector enterprises, in corporations, industry financial associations, and joint enterprises, in state management organs, in banks and commercial structures, design and research organizations.

Students have universal education in the field of creation and application of hardware and software for complex system and technological processes control on the basis of up-to-date methods and technologies in forest industry complex, economy, transport and power engineering.
